A transformative 1:1 mentoring programme
Breakout is aimed at some of the most hard to reach and vulnerable young people in Bedfordshire including, those who are already involved in, or strongly associated with criminal activity, Young people at high risk of exploitation, those who are Pre-NEET and young people who struggle to engage in traditional services. By focusing on this group, Breakout targets those who are most likely to fall through the gaps in mainstream provision, ensuring they receive 1:1, trauma informed mentoring needed to divert them towards safer, more positive futures.
A group rehabilitation programme
This programme is aimed at young people currently in Youth Offending Institutes who are preparing to transition back into the community. These young people often face multiple barriers, including disrupted education, limited employment prospects and fractured support networks, which increase the risk of re-offending after release.
